After some time spent amongst the Junior Fiction and Young Adult genres, I was ready for a good old fashioned adult fiction romance. Stranger in the Moonlight did not disappoint! It is divinely cliche in all the right ways which means it's a rapid read that makes you smile at the end. Exactly what the Dr ordered this week for me! In library terms, this book fits the description, light, paperback romance. In full definition it might sound like "honey, you’re guaranteed a happy ending". There is no hardship on your brain to read this fluffy, light, enjoyable but highly unbelievable adventure between a gentile lady and a convicted murderer. The swampy setting chosen for this tale presented unique environmental challenges (alligators that give chase).
